5 Simple Energy Practices to Release Blocks and Gain Clarity 

At Humble Heart Healing, I support both humans and animals through Reiki, energy healing, and intuitive guidance—helping you release blocks, find clarity, and reconnect with yourself (or your pet) in a deeper way. But healing doesn’t only happen during a session with me. There are simple practices you can weave into your everyday life that help shift energy, calm your mind, and bring clarity. 

Here are five gentle practices to try: 

1. Breathwork: Reset Through Your Breath 

Your breath is one of the most powerful tools you carry with you. When you’re stressed or blocked, it’s common for your breathing to become shallow. Intentional breathing—like deep belly breathing or box breathing—can calm your nervous system and release stagnant energy. Even 5–10 slow breaths can shift your entire state. Every heard of that 4-7-8 breathing technique? 

2. Grounding: Reconnect with the Earth 

When energy feels scattered, grounding helps stabilize and restore balance. Try walking barefoot on grass, sitting with your back against a tree, or simply visualizing roots extending from your feet deep into the Earth. This practice clears energetic static and reminds you of your connection to something greater. 

 3. Movement & Dance: Let Energy Flow 

Stuck energy loves to move. Yoga, tai chi, stretching, or even dancing freely in your living room can help release what you’re holding. Don’t worry about “how it looks”—trust your body’s wisdom. Moving intuitively allows stress and emotions to flow out, leaving you lighter and clearer.  

 4. Mindfulness & Meditation: Create Inner Stillness 

Stillness creates space for clarity to come through. Even a few minutes of mindful breathing or meditation can help shift your energy. Try visualizing light moving through your body, gently clearing away heavy or stagnant energy. With time, this practice strengthens your intuition and brings more peace. I personally visualize using water or light flowing through my body. 

 5. Journaling: Give Energy a Voice 

When thoughts or feelings get stuck inside, journaling gives them an outlet. Write down whatever is on your mind—no need to edit or make sense of it. The simple act of writing helps release energy, uncover patterns, and bring clarity to what’s really going on. Trust me I fought this technique for years and use it now.

Be patient: Energy shifts can take time. Each practice plants a seed.
